Code of practice

Translation for information only. This is a courtesy translation of the French document « Cadre déontologique », which is the only binding version. The seller is a French sole trader and the contract is governed by French law. In the event of any discrepancy or difference of interpretation between the two versions, the French version prevails.

This page sets out what is sold on this site and, above all, what is not. It binds MUCHA JACEK towards its clients and has contractual force under article 1 of the Terms.

Declared activity

APE code 85.59A — Formation continue d’adultes. Scope actually carried on: applied language courses for working life (English and Polish) and technical-literacy workshops for adults, covering the vocabulary, the documentation and the computing concepts of the distributed-ledger field, sold and paid for directly by the learner or their employer, with no public funding, to the exclusion of any investment, legal or tax advice and of any digital asset service

What is sold

professional English applied to the distributed-ledger field: meetings, specifications, tickets, code reviews, support messages
technical Polish for dealing with teams based in Poland
technical comprehension workshops: distributed ledger, consensus mechanism, signed transaction, smart contract — explained as computing objects
reading and understanding technical documentation and white papers written in English
awareness training on phishing, fake technical help desks and social engineering
a workshop on the hardware wallet as a computing object (secure element, offline signing, seed derivation, signed firmware), with brands cited in the plural as examples
a named attendance certificate on request, carrying no certification or diploma value

What is neither offered, nor sold, nor performed

The following activities are regulated, or subject to an authorisation the Provider does not hold. They are excluded without exception, and no order covering them will be accepted:

no investment advice: this business is not a financial investment adviser within the meaning of article L. 541-1 of the French monetary and financial code, is not registered with ORIAS and belongs to no professional association approved by the French financial markets authority (AMF)
no recommendation, personalised or general, to acquire, hold or dispose of a digital asset, a cryptocurrency, a token or a financial instrument
no digital asset service within the meaning of article L. 54-10-2 of the French monetary and financial code and of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA): no custody for third parties, no buying or selling, no exchange, no transfer, no operation of a trading platform, no placement, no reception or transmission of orders. This business is neither registered nor authorised by the AMF
no portfolio management on behalf of third parties, no mandate, and no holding of funds or digital assets belonging to a client
no banking or financial canvassing within the meaning of article L. 341-1 of the French monetary and financial code
no price forecast, no market signal, no opportunity analysis and no promise of gain, yield or performance
no legal advice (French Act no. 71-1130 of 31 December 1971) and no tax advice or tax filing (Ordinance no. 45-2138 of 19 September 1945): nothing taught here constitutes a legal or tax opinion, in particular on the taxation of digital assets, and any question of that kind is referred to a lawyer or a chartered accountant
no token issuance, no public offering of tokens, no airdrop, no referral programme, no introducer's commission and no partnership, paid or unpaid, with any exchange platform or issuer
no payment accepted in cryptoassets: courses are paid for exclusively in euro, by card or SEPA transfer
no installation, configuration, repair or maintenance of any storage device, node or application on a client's behalf, and no handling of their accounts, their keys or their devices
no sale, resale, distribution or purchase recommendation of any device, brand or model of hardware wallet: the brands cited in the workshop are cited as teaching examples and in the plural, with no preference expressed
no technical support, no after-sales service and no representation of any maker whatsoever: this site is the official support channel of no brand and has no connection with the companies cited
no initialisation, restoration or recovery of a wallet, an account or a device belonging to a client, neither remotely nor in person
🔴 no recovery phrase, private key or password is ever asked for, displayed, typed in or stored, on any pretext and on any medium — a legitimate teacher, maker or help desk will never ask you for them
no declaration as a training organisation (art. L. 6351-1 of the French labour code): these courses are not vocational training actions in the legal sense and cannot be funded by the CPF, by an OPCO or by France Travail
no certification, no diploma, no qualification listed in the French RNCP or specific register, and no Qualiopi certification: the certificates issued are simple attendance certificates
no sworn or certified translation, and no judicial, medical or administrative interpreting service

If a request falls outside the scope

Any request falling within an excluded activity is refused in writing and, where appropriate, referred to an authorised professional. If such a service has been paid for in error, it is refunded in full within 14 days.

Insurance and obligation of means

The Provider is under an obligation of means. No guarantee is given as to results, passing an exam, obtaining a diploma, a certification, a job or funding.

Governing law

This code of practice is governed by French law.
