Frequently asked questions

How it works, the prices, payment and your rights.

Do you tell people what to invest in?

No, never, and that is not a token disclaimer: this business is not a financial investment adviser (art. L. 541-1 of the French monetary and financial code), is not registered with ORIAS and is not allowed to give such advice. No course deals with whether to acquire, hold or dispose of an asset, and a question of that kind asked in a session always gets the same answer: see a properly authorised professional.

Do you hold or handle my funds?

No. No custody, no exchange, no transfer, no holding of any asset or funds belonging to a learner. This business is neither registered nor authorised by the AMF under article L. 54-10-2 of the French monetary and financial code or Regulation (EU) 2023/1114. Workshops are run from public examples; I never touch your accounts or your devices.

Does what you teach count as legal or tax advice?

No. Nothing said in a course is legal advice (Act no. 71-1130) or tax advice (Ordinance no. 45-2138). We can read a text in English together and understand its vocabulary; interpreting it and applying it to your situation is for your lawyer or your accountant.

So what exactly do I learn?

Two things. A language: English or Polish as they are spoken in a technical team — meetings, specifications, tickets, documentation. And some concepts: what a distributed ledger is, a consensus mechanism, a signed transaction, a smart contract, explained as computing objects.

You mention Trezor, Ledger, BitBox — do you sell them or represent them?

Neither. Those marks are cited in the plural, as examples, to identify the devices studied in the workshop — the way a computing course names operating systems. No affiliation, no partnership, no sponsorship, no resale, no official support. This site has no connection with SatoshiLabs, Ledger SAS, Shift Crypto or Coinkite, and is the support channel of none of them. No brand is recommended over another: choosing a device is not part of what is taught.

Do you work on my device or on my access?

Never, at any point. No initialisation, no restoration, no repair, no handling of your accounts, your keys or your devices — neither remotely nor in person. The workshop is taught at the board, from diagrams and public documentation. And your recovery phrase will never be asked of you, by me or by anyone else: that is precisely one of the things taught. Anyone who asks you for it — “support”, “verification”, “migration” — is robbing you.

Do I need to know the field already?

No. The “understanding a blockchain” workshop is made for people who trip over the jargon, including those arriving from a completely different trade. The trial session is there to work out whether your blockage is the language or the technology — it is almost never the one people assume.

Can the courses be funded by the French CPF scheme?

No. This business is not a declared training organisation and has neither an activity declaration number nor Qualiopi certification. Courses are paid for directly by the learner or their employer.

Do you issue a certification?

No. No diploma, no RNCP qualification, no recognised certification. A named attendance certificate is issued on request: it attests to the hours attended, nothing more.

How does payment work?

In euro only, by card or SEPA transfer on the site. No payment in cryptoassets is accepted. Below € 200 everything is paid at the time of order; above that, a 30 % deposit is enough, with the balance due at the halfway point.

How does this relate to jacekmucha.fr?

It is the same sole trader: same SIRET, same APE code, same terms of sale and the same teacher. jacekmucha.fr carries the general English and Polish courses; this sub-domain carries the technical niche.

What happens if I cancel?

Rescheduled at no cost if you give 24 hours' notice. Beyond the 14-day withdrawal period, a package already started stays refundable for the hours not used.
