What the course includes
- 1 h 30 of explanation with diagrams, and no mathematics
- what a distributed ledger is, what a block is, what a signed transaction is
- what a consensus mechanism is for, and what it actually guarantees
- what a smart contract is, considered as a program
- an English–French glossary of the forty terms used in the field
How the session runs
The workshop is taught at the board, from public examples and screenshots. No account, device or funds are handled at any point, by me or by the participants. No particular asset is presented, compared or recommended: the subject is the computing object.
