About

An independent teacher in the Oise, bilingual French–Polish, who teaches the language and the concepts of a technical field — and nothing else.

Atelier Mucha · Learn offers technical English and Polish courses, and comprehension workshops, to working adults: developers, support staff, compliance people, and those moving into a technical trade.

The thread is the same as on jacekmucha.fr: we do not work through chapters, we work through your situations. The vocabulary taught is the one from your job, and corrections are written down so you can come back to them.

The business is run as a French sole trader under APE code 85.59A — continuing adult education. It is not a declared training organisation, and it is neither a financial investment adviser nor a digital asset service provider. Those exclusions are restated on every course page and before any order.

Who teaches

Jacek Mucha, an independent teacher in Longueil-Sainte-Marie, in the Oise. It is the same sole trader as jacekmucha.fr, where the general English and Polish courses are taught: same SIRET, same APE code, same terms of sale.

This sub-domain exists because a niche formed on its own: learners working in technical teams who lack both the English vocabulary of the field and an understanding of the objects their colleagues talk about.

What “blockchain” means here

A distributed ledger is a computing object: a replicated database, ordered by a consensus mechanism, onto which signed transactions are written. A smart contract is a deterministic program executed by that network. That is the level the workshops work at.

What “blockchain” does not mean here: an investment, a yield, a market, an opportunity. The price of an asset, how it moves and whether to hold any are covered in no course, and no question of that kind gets an answer.

Why there is no textbook

A textbook teaches someone else's language, and in this field it is out of date before it is printed. So we start from your own documents: the specification you have to comment on Thursday, the ticket you cannot phrase, the meeting that got away from you last week.

Vocabulary is built up session after session in a glossary that stays yours, in English, in French and in Polish if needed.

Polish is genuinely useful in this field

A significant share of the development teams French companies work with are based in Poland. A few hundred words and the right forms of politeness change a working relationship with a Polish counterpart far faster than a year of approximate English on both sides.

What I do not do

No investment advice, no recommendation to buy, sell or hold, no price forecast, no signal. This business is not a financial investment adviser within the meaning of article L. 541-1 of the French monetary and financial code and is not registered with ORIAS.

No digital asset service either: no custody, no exchange, no transfer, no platform operation. It is neither registered nor authorised by the AMF under article L. 54-10-2 of the French monetary and financial code or Regulation (EU) 2023/1114.

No legal or tax advice, in particular on the taxation of digital assets. The complete list of exclusions is on the code of practice page (FR).

And on the hardware side: no device is sold, no device is initialised or restored, and no official brand support is offered. Hardware wallets are studied in the workshop as technical objects, with the brands cited in the plural and as examples. Your recovery phrase will never be asked for — that is one of the things taught, not a formality.

• no portfolio management on behalf of third parties, no mandate, and no holding of funds or digital assets belonging to a client
• no banking or financial canvassing within the meaning of article L. 341-1 of the French monetary and financial code
• no price forecast, no market signal, no opportunity analysis and no promise of gain, yield or performance
• no legal advice (French Act no. 71-1130 of 31 December 1971) and no tax advice or tax filing (Ordinance no. 45-2138 of 19 September 1945): nothing taught here constitutes a legal or tax opinion, in particular on the taxation of digital assets, and any question of that kind is referred to a lawyer or a chartered accountant
• no token issuance, no public offering of tokens, no airdrop, no referral programme, no introducer's commission and no partnership, paid or unpaid, with any exchange platform or issuer
• no payment accepted in cryptoassets: courses are paid for exclusively in euro, by card or SEPA transfer
• no installation, configuration, repair or maintenance of any storage device, node or application on a client's behalf, and no handling of their accounts, their keys or their devices
• no sale, resale, distribution or purchase recommendation of any device, brand or model of hardware wallet: the brands cited in the workshop are cited as teaching examples and in the plural, with no preference expressed
• no technical support, no after-sales service and no representation of any maker whatsoever: this site is the official support channel of no brand and has no connection with the companies cited
• no initialisation, restoration or recovery of a wallet, an account or a device belonging to a client, neither remotely nor in person
• 🔴 no recovery phrase, private key or password is ever asked for, displayed, typed in or stored, on any pretext and on any medium — a legitimate teacher, maker or help desk will never ask you for them
• no declaration as a training organisation (art. L. 6351-1 of the French labour code): these courses are not vocational training actions in the legal sense and cannot be funded by the CPF, by an OPCO or by France Travail
• no certification, no diploma, no qualification listed in the French RNCP or specific register, and no Qualiopi certification: the certificates issued are simple attendance certificates
• no sworn or certified translation, and no judicial, medical or administrative interpreting service
